Trash
We have a “Pack it in, Pack it out” policy on trash. Do not leave your trash behind, take it with you.
Do not throw your cigarette butts or bottle tops on the ground. We have small children that run around, we don’t want them putting these things in their mouths are stepping on them. We do have an onsite dumpster but no large items (tents, mattresses etc) may be placed in the on site dumpster. Only bagged trash may be placed in the dumpster.
Waivers
All guests or vendors entering the property must sign a waiver form upon entry into the property.
Pavilion Use/Alcohol
Any alcohol served during the event at the pavilion must be served from a TABC certified bartender.
Parking
Events are limited to 100 guests, with parking for 40 vehicles. Large commercial bus or van must be pre-approved so we can show them where it is safe to park. Please only park in designated areas and do not go 'off road". Please understand that the land sits in an area know as the "sand hills", which means we have lots of sand. If you get stuck and we cannot get you unstuck you will be required to have a tow truck come out to pull your vehicle at your expense.
Restrooms
All event renters who plan to have over 20 guests must provide 1 portable restroom per 50 guests for the entirety of the rental period. Please note that we do have camping restrooms on site for events of 20 or less guests. These may still be used once port-o-potties are brought out as long as the septic is not being overwhelmed and we will lock out these restrooms if that happens until the septic is able to catch up. This is not city plumbing, all on site restrooms are on a septic tank.
Shower:
On site showers are provided. We do not offer hot showers which actually feels really nice most of the year here in Texas!
Event Insurance
All event space renters must provide us with proof that they have obtained event insurance and have Dragonz Wylde Ranch listed as an additional insured. Ask us for details or recs on where to get this.
RVs
We allow RVs but RV parking should be consulted with a festival or land representative. Our land is sand and large vehicles tend to sink. If your RV gets stuck and we can’t pull it out, a wrecker will be called at your expense. We do have designated areas for the RVs where the likelihood of this happening is min. So if you need to bring one out, let us know ahead of time, so we can have you a safe spot. We do have a few power hook ups for RVs at this time. We ask that no generators be ran after 9pm.
Camping
We have an abundance of already cleared sites, Please use these only.
No parking in campsites, there is a designated parking area. If you want to camp in your car, ask for a designated area to do so in. Power use on the land is restricted to staff and those it is provided for. Not all camps have or will be provided electricity. If you have a medical need for electric, let our staff know and we will help you find a spot that it can be provided. Also be respectful of others campers. Other people’s tents and camps are just like their home when on the land. Honor their privacy. Ask before entering their space, just as you would knock on someone’s door before coming into their house. If you are in someone else’s camp, ask before throwing cigarette butts or other trash into their fire pit. Some campers have an open door policy others do not.
Campfires
Campfires in all camps should be only operated with permission and in a pre-build or above ground fire pit. Also, basic safety rules apply when building and maintaining your fires. There should be no campfires unattended, and none underneath a canopy of trees. If there is a fire ban, there will be no fires allowed in the camps. Also, no cans, plastic or glass is to be put in any fire pit on the land.
Pets
No pets. The only exceptions are service animals. Their shots have to be up to date. They must be on a leash or in a kennel. If your service animal is found loose or causes a problem, you may be asked to remove it from the property. Service animals must wear the required service animal gear.
Minors
Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Even though we provide activities and a play area for the children, the parents are still responsible for them. Children under 18 are recommended to be in their camps by 10. Any at the fire after that must have a parent or guardian with them.
Clothing Optional
If your group would like to have areas of the woods as clothing optional, this is allowed. It is done on a per rental basis determined by the renters. We do require that these areas are only in the woods in certain spaces. No one may be unclothed in any way when in the common area. We do require that we be notified of the intent to offer clothing optional for your campers. This is to determine your clothing optional area and be able to inform the occupants of the property.
Drugs
Felony drug use of any kind is prohibited.
Sexual Harassment
Sexual Harassment is NOT tolerated. If someone says NO, do NOT assume it is a maybe.
“No means No.”
Don’t forget that women are not the only victims of sexual harassment. Men can be Sexually Harassed as well and ladies, Men have the right to say No as well. If someone has been drinking too much, err on the better side, take them to their tent and say goodnight. If they can’t remember saying Yes, then the answer should have been a No. Always make sure your partner is at least 18 or older. If you have a problem with someone, Report it to our Staff IMMEDIATELY. We cannot do anything about it if we don’t know about it when it happens , this way we can keep it from happening to others as well.
